Pre-conference workshops take place on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 12 pm to 4 pm. A separate registration is required. Attendance at a workshop does not include Summit registration.

Conference Highlights
The CTCNM Summit is dedicated to advancing the practice of midwifery, fostering professional growth, and improving the quality of maternal and neonatal care across Texas.
Our theme this year, “Together We Rise: Advancing Midwifery in Texas,” reflects our commitment to collaboration, shared learning, and advocacy in support of the continued development of midwifery knowledge, skills, and leadership. The Summit brings together midwives, students, educators, and advocates for two days of education, connection, and collective progress.
Keynote Speakers: Hear from renowned experts in midwifery, obstetrics, and women’s health who will share insights on the latest research, practices, and innovations in the field.
Pre-Summit Workshops: Hands-on clinical skill intensives designed to build practical competence in surgical first assist and perineal repair through guided instruction, skill practice, and clinical pearls.
Breakout Sessions: Participate in interactive sessions designed to enhance clinical skills, explore new techniques, and address current challenges in midwifery care. Topics include: primary care, complications in pregnancy, mental health, minority support, midwife advocacy, practice management and more.
Panel Discussions: Engage in thought-provoking discussions on critical issues such as policy changes, the integration of midwifery in various healthcare settings, and strategies to address disparities in maternal health outcomes.
