2026 Conference Highlights
The CTCNM Summit is dedicated to advancing the practice of midwifery, fostering professional growth, and improving the quality of maternal and neonatal care across Texas.
Our 2026 theme, “Together We Rise: Advancing Midwifery in Texas,” reflected our commitment to collaboration, shared learning, and advocacy in support of the continued development of midwifery knowledge, skills, and leadership. The Summit brought together midwives, students, educators, and advocates for two days of education, connection, and collective progress.

Hands-on pre-summit workshops focused on surgical first assist and laceration repair
Breakout sessions addressing evidence-based clinical care, policy, leadership, advocacy, mental health, and maternal health disparities
Panel discussions on the future of midwifery in Texas and healthcare integration
Networking opportunities with midwives, students, educators, and healthcare leaders from across Texas
