Midwives of Color

COMMITTEE

The Midwives of Color Committee is a dedicated group within the Consortium of Texas Certified Nurse Midwives, championing equity and inclusion in maternal healthcare. Our mission is to support midwives and student midwives of color through mentorship, education, advocacy, and community-building initiatives. By fostering a space of belonging and empowerment, we aim to increase diversity in midwifery and improve outcomes for all birthing families.
